We just wrapped up a fantastic season of #NFStrong events! These family-fun activities provide a safe, positive, and entertaining environment to spread NF awareness and build new friendships and relationships within our NF communities. We started out strong with our Kansas City, MO walk with 92 registered sign-ups and ended on a tremendous note with our Memphis, TN walk totaling 112 registered sign-ups! With two events in Ohio and one in Orlando, Florida in between, we were able to connect with some amazing NF families and friends. We are so grateful for your continued support and participation. 

In addition, we are grateful to our dedicated event chairs Jill Meyer, Jenn Krawchyk, Kory Moreland, Melanie Leach, and Carrie Dewey. These are the most generous human beings anyone could meet. Because of their personal stories with neurofibromatosis, they donate time, money, and resources to fundraise for the network so we can continue doing our mission-related initiatives of support and research.

We would also be remiss not to mention our incredible sponsors. Without them, these events would not be possible to produce. Our national sponsor, Alexion Pharmaceuticals, supported five events this year! We were also excited to see Advent Health for Children in Orlando come in with a generous donation to our Orlando walk. Beyond that, our Memphis walk received a nice donation from Dr. Paul Moots of Vanderbilt NF Clinic in Nashville president of NF Tennessee, and continued support from Dr. Eniko Pivnick, lead geneticist at the NF clinic at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN.

It's heartening to see so much support for our community. We are excited about the 2024 events and hope you will join us in the coming year to build an even stronger network. Mark your calendars for these upcoming events…
