The world of NF is advancing and changing constantly, and with each new change brings hope. Through new clinical trials, research studies, and beyond, scientists and researchers are dedicating their time and minds to this important work. Their results are seeing positive effects and are providing hope to our NF community.

In addition to the critical and crucial work being conducted on the research side of NF, there is an equally important component on the care side of NF. The NF Network is grateful for the doctors, physicians, and specialists who not only help advance the research being conducted in neurofibromatosis, but who also care for and treat our NF friends, families, and individuals each and every day.

One of those doctors is Dr. Eniko Pivnick, lead geneticist at the NF clinic at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN. For many years, Dr. Pivnick has gone beyond her work in the NF clinic and found methods of connecting with other specialists in the tri-state area, including Dr. Paul Moots at the Vanderbilt NF Clinic in Nashville, TN. Dr. Pivnick shares her time outside of her office showing her love and support for her families and individuals by attending NF events, such as our #NFStrong 5K in Memphis, TN. Dr. Pivnick has been there since the beginning, and we are grateful not only for her support of the NF Network, but most importantly the love and care she provides our NF friends and family each and every day.

Watch below for a message from Dr. Pivnick as she attended our #NFStrong at Home event for Memphis, TN earlier this month:
