Your voices and stories were heard in DC!

On February 5th and 6th of this year, we were honored to visit our nation’s capital to lend a voice to the neurofibromatosis (NF) community! The energy was palpable as 97 advocates from across the country descended upon the halls of Congress and Senate to advocate for continued federal funding for the Department of Defense's Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program (CDMRP) and research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).  The NF Network Advocacy Program has been proudly representing the NF community on Capitol Hill for 28 years and has played a vital role in securing OVER $400 MILLION FOR NF RESEARCH.

It's absolutely amazing to bring so many individuals together working toward a common goal! Collectively, we had 49 states represented.

We cannot THANK YOU enough for your continued advocacy efforts and support of the NF Network Advocacy Program. With your support and voice, our advocates will continue to educate and inspire your elected officials to support funding for NF research. Together, we can help accelerate the search for better treatments and a cure for neurofibromatosis.
