One More Time: Contact Your Senators!

In February, over 80 advocates participating in the NF Network Advocacy Program met with 265+ congressional offices and shared our stories, successes, and fiscal year request for 2023.Their mission was to encourage signatures in support of critical NF research funding.

Our Hill visit was just the first part of our journey. We have educated the staff and now each of us - including your friends, family, and loved ones - need to be NF advocates and ask Congress for $25 million in the FY23 Department of Defense Appropriations bill and to continue to invest in NF research through the National Institutes of Health.

As the “Dear Colleague” letter continues to circulate in the Senate, we are asking for your voice one more time! We need your help reaching out to your senators to show them that there are many voters affected by NF and request that they sign to the “Dear Colleague” letter. The DEADLINE for the Senate letter is Friday, May 6th - so we need your voice NOW more than EVER!

Using the form on the NF Network website makes contacting your senator easy and takes less than 2 minutes to complete! The form will identify your representative when you input your address and a letter has already been preloaded. Please feel free to include YOUR story as a part of your letter to your representative - as a constituent, it is your voice that will encourage your Congressperson to sign on. Instructions for personalizing your email are included with the letter.
