NF Network Launches NF Research Program

The NF Network is dedicated to providing hope to individuals living with neurofibromatosis. Since 1996, the NF Network has played a vital role in securing over $400 million in federal NF research funds through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program (CDMRP-NFRP). Now, under the leadership of the Scientific Advisory Committee, the NF Network is proud to present the NF Network Research Program to continue funding hope for better treatments and a cure for neurofibromatosis.
The Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) provides guidance and oversight for funding research. The SAC seeks proposals focused on advancing the scientific knowledge or clinical care of individuals with neurofibromatosis 1 or schwannomatosis (inclusive of NF2-related schwannomatosis, which was formerly known as neurofibromatosis 2). The NF Network invites applications to apply for projects that allow the investigator to generate early data and seek larger funds from other granting agencies.
The NF Network encourages succint applications prefaced by a cover letter that contains a 1-page summary in lay language to be included with the LOI, due by August 15th.
