New Research Study at UMN and UWM for Children and Adolescents with NF1

Researchers at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and University of Wisconsin, Madison are combining efforts to better understand the strengths and difficulties of children and adolescents with NF1. The information provided will help the researcheres learn how to better support these children by helping them build on their strengths and overcome challenges.

Researchers at UMN and UW are seeking research participants for a unique study on behavioral strengths and challenges of children ages 3-17 with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) and other genetic and neurodevelopmental diagnoses. 

To complete this study, parents/caregivers will be asked to complete a 15-20 minute survey about their child’s day-to-day behavior child’s social, emotional and behavioral needs. All responses are anonymous.

You will also have the option of being included in a drawing for a gift card to thank you for your feedback! There will be 4 prizes drawn among interested survey participants:

  • 1 Grand Prize: a $100 Target gift card
  • 1 Second Prize: a $50 Target gift card
  • 2 Third Prizes: $25 Target gift cards
