Over the past 2 years, we’ve seen firsthand how you’ve shared your compassion and support with the Neurofibromatosis Network during this extraordinary and pivotal time. Your kindness and generosity have allowed us to continue our important mission-related initiatives and serve the growing NF community. We are still here because of you. THANK YOU!

Each year, the NF Network serves over 10,000 NF friends and supporters of the NF cause and connects with over 1,200 new NF families. You have allowed us to help hundreds of newly diagnosed NF families and individuals by providing them educational materials, referrals to NF clinics and specialists, and connecting them with other local support. The NF Network is also able to provide direct, personalized support through the NF Heartline. The NF Heartline is a hotline designed to share individualized insight through outlets available to us at the NF Network.

In addition to our continued programs and resources, the NF Network embraced the changing formats and transitioned and transformed to the digital world. Seeking new ways to connect, we hosted 24 online events and served over 2,629 individuals and 1,382 families virtually.  

In 2021, the NF Network Advocacy Program celebrated 25 years of advocacy work in Washington, D.C. Since 1996, our program has played a vital role in securing over $382M in federal research funding for NF. While we were unable to travel in-person to deliver our message to Congress, over 78 advocates from across the country conducted their congressional meetings from home and educated over 240 offices on the importance of these funds.   

We have continued to be here for you, and we thank you for being here for us. Your support on Giving Tuesday, November 30th, and throughout the end of the year will help ensure that we will still be here when the next NF family calls.

In 2021, you helped us go above and beyond our original goal of $10,000 by raising $38,114.20. This year, our goal remains the same – to raise $10,000 by the end of the year to be ready to serve the 1,600 new families that will receive their diagnosis of NF in 2022. As times have changed, you have continued to support the NF Network and helped ensure families in our NF communities are able to receive the support we offer. YOUR commitment has made a difference in the lives of thousands.
