Thanks to your advocacy efforts, we are pleased to announce that $20 million in federal funding has been SECURED for the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program - Neurofibromatosis Research Program (CDMRP-NFRP) for Fiscal Year 2022. The House and Senate are both expected to vote on the Fiscal Year 2022 spending bills before sending the package to the President for his signature.

THANK YOU for your continued advocacy efforts and your support of the NF Network Advocacy Program. Together, with your help, we are able to continue educating Congress on the importance of these federal research dollars for neurofibromatosis and help accelerate the search for treatments and a cure to end NF.

In February, over 80 advocates participating in the NF Network Advocacy Program met with 265+ congressional offices and shared our stories, successes, and fiscal year request for 2023. While this milestone finalizes last year's FY22 NF research request, we will need your voice for this year's FY23 request when the Dear Colleague letters begin circulating.

Advocates participating in this program have been the voice of the NF community on Capitol Hill for over 20 years and have been instrumental in generating over $402 million dedicated to NF research

Your contributions help ensure that we can continue fighting and advocating for better treatments and a cure to end neurofibromatosis. We thank you for your continued support, and we celebrate with you in this success! We did it!
