#UnveilingNF: Spreading Awareness with Your NF Stories

Each May, we rally together around the world to celebrate NF Awareness Month. Year after year, your stories and your journeys continue to inspire us as you spread the word about neurofibromatosis and forge new connections with within your communities.

At the NF Network, we are more than a community – we are a family. Our family is made up of hundreds of friends, families, and supporters in locations around the world, and we continue to grow each day. It is because of our ever-growing family that for NF Awareness Month, we are “unveiling” some of the many faces of NF in our community and are “painting a new portrait of NF.” With the generosity and partnership of Rachel Mindrup, an incredible artist who is also mom to a son with NF1, the NF Network is pleased to share some of her Many Faces of NF portraits throughout the month of May.

In addition to our awareness efforts at the NF Network, we need your help in “unveiling NF” – we want to hear your story. Using the hashtag #UnveilingNF, we want to hear YOUR NF story and what spreading NF awareness means to you! Our goal is not only to connect with more NF families and individuals, but also to remind us why spreading NF awareness is so important and how we are all working towards the same goal – raising funds and awareness for better treatments and a cure for neurofibromatosis.

We encourage you to invite your friends, family, and peers to join in and participate! Every photo helps not only raise awareness, but also connect with other members in our NF community. Together, we continue to raise our voices and take another step closer towards a cure for NF.
