New Research Study for Understanding Chronic Pain and Work Barriers within NF Population

Dr. Frank Buono, PhD is an Associate Research Scientist in Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine. As an individual personally affected by NF2, Dr. Buono has conducted NF research through a DOD-funded study to evaluate whether a mobile phone application can reduce pain in adults with Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1). His new study below focuses on the impact of NF pain and, as a result, the quality of life and workplace barriers:

"You are invited to participate in completing a survey investigating the impact of your chronic pain due to Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1) or Neurofibromatosis Type 2 (NF2) on your quality of life and work barriers. The purpose of this study is to use your feedback to understand if chronic pain affects work related barriers. If you agree to participate, the survey will be anonymous and will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. Upon completing the survey, you will be entered in a drawing to earn one of four 50 dollar gift cards. 

Your participation in this study is voluntary.  You can refuse to participate or withdraw from this survey at any time. If you decide to participate, you may still refuse to answer any questions that make you feel uncomfortable. To participate in the study, please click here."
