The NF Network is excited to introduce an invaluable educational lunch and learn event to the Georgia community!

On September 6, seize the opportunity to connect with fellow NF families while enjoying a complimentary lunch at this insightful event! Join us at the Marietta History Center, located at Marietta Market Square, 1 Depot St, Marietta. Kick off your day by exploring the popular Farmer's Market, then gather for an enlightening session featuring three expert NF speakers.

Rebecca Brown, MD, PhD, an Associate Professor in Neuro-Oncology from UAB Medicine, will present “Everything You Need to Know About NF-Related Skin Bumps.” She'll provide essential information on the management of cutaneous neurofibromas and share innovative techniques for their removal that lead to minimal scarring!

John Henson, MD, Professor of Medicine, Neurology, and Neurosurgery at Augusta University, will discuss “Family Planning and the Use of Preimplantation Testing.” His presentation will illuminate the critical role genetic testing plays in NF1 and its importance for family planning, as well as the transformative benefits of preimplantation testing.

Samantha Blain, a dedicated Patient Education Manager, will round out this informative session with her talk on “Navigating Stress and Cultivating Wellness.” Coping with stress related to NF presents real challenges! In her session, she will unveil powerful strategies to help you find peace and elevate your overall wellness. Don’t let stress stand in your way—take the first step towards a healthier, more balanced life today!
