August is an exciting month, offering the final opportunity to enjoy the summer sun and perhaps take one last getaway before the back-to-school season begins. It is also a crucial time for us as we launch our annual membership drive!

We are committed to raising awareness about neurofibromatosis (NF) and serving as a vital resource for the NF community. However, we cannot achieve our goals without your support in spreading the word about our mission. This membership month, we invite you to help amplify our message and encourage others to stay iNFormed.

Why should others become part of our family? Our mission is to empower the neurofibromatosis community by providing essential programs and resources, sharing the latest research updates, connecting individuals within the community, and inviting them to events. The NF community has greatly benefited from our nearly 30 years of leadership in advocating for increased federal funding for NF research.

Why do we do this? Our commitment runs deep. Our executive director is a mother of a daughter with NF1, giving her unique insight into the challenges families face. Many of our board members also have personal connections to NF, and this passion drives our mission. Join us in making a meaningful impact, and help us spread the word by sharing this link!
