Hello, my name is Kory Moreland aka The Bengal Warrior, I’m a superfan of the Cincinnati Bengals.  Like most people I didn’t know of Neurofibromatosis.  Then one day I notice my cousin doing a NF walk, so I messaged her.  Come to find out that both of her daughters have it.  I quickly learned how awful this is.  Now that I’m able to I’m doing whatever I can to get the message out about Neurofibromatosis by raising awareness and fund through the small platform I have as a superfan.

Peyton is 11 years old, an honor roll student, a competitive cheerleader, and an all-around sweet caring girl.  Peyton’s diagnosis came a huge shock at her 11-month check-up.  We met with the NF clinic and did blood work to confirm her diagnosis.  Peyton has 3 fibroid tumors on her head that we continue to monitor every year as well as her optic nerve.  We will continue to monitor her as she grows.

Keltyn is 5 years old, she is in her 2nd year of preschool, feisty with all the sass but will charm you with her sweet and funny side.  Keltyn’s diagnosis came at 6 months.  She had bloodwork done to confirm her diagnosis as well.  Keltyn has a different set of things we monitor.  Keltyn has a concaved chest hat we monitor to make sure it’s not pressing on her heart.  We are also monitoring a “bright spot” on her brain as well as her optic nerve.  We will continue to monitor all three as he continues to grow.
