Mission & Vision
Neurofibromatosis Network was founded in 1988 to join together several independent states and regional NF groups wishing to work together on national projects. Founded in 2016 as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, NF North Central is one of these regional groups, who share the fundamental ideals and values of the greater NF Network.
The Mission of NF North Central is to authentically educate, advocate, counsel, support and fund research initiatives benefitting those impacted by Neurofibromatosis.
It is the Vision of NF North Central that, in carrying out its mission, treatments and a cure for Neurofibromatosis will be discovered. Until this vision is realized, NF North Central shall not cease its mission.
The NF Network network provides opportunities for local NF organizations, like NF North Central, to share experiences. The network is a dynamic and growing open space for shared resources, development of new tools, and creation of innovative programs. It brings together groups from around the country to speak as one voice on national issues.
