About Us

After their son was diagnosed with NF1 as a baby, Gregg & Becky Erickson connected with the Neurofibromatosis (NF) Network and joined their advocacy efforts in lobbying for federal research funding on Capitol Hill.  Upon learning that their home state of Minnesota and neighboring Wisconsin were not being represented by a local NF Network member organization, Gregg established NF North Central (NFNC).  He brought on Ryan Geier, current President of NF Network, Wisconsin native and father to a daughter with NF1.  He brought on Gregory Naylor, father of two and founder/owner of an asset management group in Minneapolis.  A multi-disciplinary trifecta of skills, resources, knowledge and compassion, the NFNC board was formed and is growing...

NFNC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, currently serving the NF Community in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North and South Dakotas.  NFNC is dedicated to increasing its regional footprint so that more families may have access to the resources every NF patient deserves. It will continue partnering with NF Network’s Advocacy Program to secure the federal funding vital to advancing NF research studies, and it will endeavor to bring together the brilliant, creative minds of researchers and clinicians until the day a cure for NF is found.
