The American Family Children’s Hospital, Madison is once again hosting a free NF1 symposium for patients and families and staff on Saturday October 13th from 8:30-4:00, at the Wisconsin Institute for Medical Research Building (WIMR), located in Madison, Wisconsin.
All patients and families from Wisconsin, and outer lying areas, who are affected with NF1 are invited. We welcome members of your institution who are involved in the care of NF1 patients and families to attend this event, as well. Also, there will be time during the lunch session to provide information to participants.
Key note speaker at this event is Dr. David Viskochil, Chief of Pediatric Genetics at the University of Utah, professor of pediatrics and clinical geneticist. The title of his presentation is “Perspectives on NF1 Care”.
