Great Steps & NF Walks
Great Steps for NF walks take place across the country, and are a result of meeting the need individuals with Neurofibromatosis (NF) have to meet one another. It is a great way to involve family and friends, meet others who affected by NF, while raising awareness of this disorder and to create funding for NF research.

Join NF, Inc. in Alabama on Saturday, September 17, at 10:00 a.m for our 2nd Annual Great Steps for NF Walk. The event will be held at Leeds Memorial Park in Leeds, AL.
WHY WALK? By walking with Great Steps, you will be helping to fund research and programs of support and education. Due to the nature of NF, research into the disorder benefits more than just those affected by NF. Funds can advance research in many types of cancer, learning disabilities and more.
Come enjoy food, fun, and meet other families affected by NF while raising awareness of this disorder.

Walk as an individual or gather your family, friends, co-workers and neighbors and form a team! Create a name and elect a captain who will be responsible for distributing and collecting information to and from team members.
Once you have registered, an information packet will be sent out with information about fundraising and general walker info.
NF, Inc. Minnesota Walk for a Cure
Join NF Inc. Minnesota on September 17, 2011 at Como Park in Saint Paul to fundraise for research for the better management, treatment, and eventual cure of neurofibromatosis (NF). Your support will also sustain the various events they host throughout the year as well as to provide for a variety of supportive programming.
There is no fee to attend the walk, but walkers who raise $100 or more before the walk either online or through donations brought to the walk, will earn a t-shirt on Walk Day. The Walk raises money to support research, family services, advocacy and awareness. Any donation you can give, no matter what size, makes a huge impact. As a walker, you are encouraged to ask your friends and family to sponsor your walk efforts. There will also be children’s activities, music, snacks and more, in addition to the walk! Bring the whole family and enjoy!
